Hey there I’m Joy, a Southern Alberta-based photographer who believes the best photos happen when you’re simply being you. Inspired by life's beautiful in-between moments, I love capturing real, joyful memories, those soft laughs, heartfelt hugs, that feel like food for your soul when you look back at them.
For me, photography isn’t just about aesthetics. it’s about honouring the moment. Life moves fast and I believe there’s something incredibly powerful in being able to pause it. A quick glance between lovers, a tearful hug after graduation, the unfiltered love of being fully seen and celebrated… those are the things I live to capture.
Photography has been my favourite part of life, since I received my first camera.The goal of my photography journey is to show how beautifully I see life and people. One day I will be old and I will cry tears of happiness looking back, knowing I've helped capture these timeless memories.
